2013-15 In Colour Collection Makes Part 2

Today I am showing you some cards made with the new Stampin' Up hexagon bundle available in this years annual catalogue.  Hexagon's were quite big in the paper crafting world in 2012 and as a scrapbooker I noticed that a large number of scrapbook paper manufacturers had hexagons in their collections.  At the time I thought somebody needs to bring out a hexagon punch.

In the summer Stampin' Up had a hexagon/honeycomb embossing folder which I snapped up and loved from the word go.

Honeycomb Embossing Folder   129378   £7.50

It was lovely to see this item has made it in to this years annual catalogue along with a lovely stamp set and matching punch:

Six Sided Sampler
Wood  130953  £23.95
Clear 130956  £18.95

Hexagon Punch  130919  £130919

Stampin' Up have also packaged the stamps and punch together to make the six sided bundle which sells for 15% less than if you purchased the items separately.

Six Sided Sampler Bundle
Wood   132725  £33.50
Clear   132724  £29.25

As with all stamps and punches from Stampin' Up these work together wonderfully.  Here are a few cards I have made using all three items:

I have used the same three colours on each of these cards:

Strawberry Slush
Crisp Cantaloupe
Coastal Cobana

I love the way that even though the colours are all the same on each card, each one looks so much different as a result of changing the colour of the mat used.

You can see the codes for the ink and cardstock used on these cards here.  In addition I have used Whisper White cardstock to stamp the hexagons on and raising them with Stampin' Up dimensionals (104430 £3.25 for 300 acid free dots)
